Hi Tim, hi Merijn,

I think I can affirm that I have a preview of the thread-safety rework
of libstatgrab is ready for reviewing.
A tarball of the git-repository can be found at
http://www.netbsd.org/~sno/smart-snmpd/ (Merijn, no jokes about me and
git, please).

The current state is: no *BSD support for many stats - I'll rewrite
them asap favor sysctl over kvm_* (lesser permissions needed).

I would be glad to read what you think (Tim) and how it works with
ANSI C-Compiler on HP-UX or xlc on AIX, respectively (Merijn).
